NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra preview
In all our years of testing and reviewing graphics cards, never have we seen a new graphics processor leapfrog a previous generation by such massive performance gains as exhibited by the NV40. Mere words can't describe the phenomenal gains we have recorded with every test we threw at it. In the past, advancements in graphics processors yielded some gains, but they were usually in smaller steps. More notable advancements in the past would have been the introduction of the NVIDIA GeForce 256 DDR and the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, but the gain in performance that the GeForce 6800 Ultra yielded was simply unmatched and probably unheard!
