NVIDIA NV45 news

Hexus has published exclusive details on NVIDIA's recently - taped out - NV45 PCI-Express graphics processor.

The NV45 is a native PCI-Express card and doesn't require the HSI bridge chip currently found on NVIDIA's PCX range. The two molex connectors used on the NV40 'Ultra' have been replaced by a single 3*2 connector, which is required to provide - the four - 12 volt feeds necessary to power this new card.
