AMD samples Athlon 64 4000+ and FX-55 chips
Pictures of AMD's Athlon 64 4000+ and FX-55 have appeared on a Chinese website.
CPU-Z screenshots reveal that the 4000+ is running at 2.4Ghz with 1 MB of cache (939) and the FX-55 is running at 2.6GHz with 1MB cache. Oddly it appears that both parts are being manufactured at the company's older .13 micron process, not the newer .09 micron one. Now how much of this news is true will be revealed in time.
