AMD holding off on DDR2 support
Reportedly AMD's Socket 939 processor won't be getting a DDR2 memory controller after all. Apparently the company believes it makes little sense to offer support until DDR2-667 is more widely available. It now looks more likely AMD will start supporting DDR2 with its Socket 1207 processor, due for release (sometime) in 2006.
