AMD dual-core Athlon 64 demo
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) demonstrated a working dual-core Athlon 64 (Toledo) desktop processor at its Sunnyvale facility earlier today. A BIOS update will enable the 90 nanometre dual-core processor to run on currently available Socket 939 motherboards when it's launched later this year.
