Pentium 840 Extreme Edition details
Today Intel released a few details on its first dual-core Pentium processor, the 840 Extreme Edition, which is due for release in Q2/2005. The specs are, 3.2 GHz clock speed, two cores, two threads per core, 800 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache (1MB per core), EM64T, Execute Disable Bit, LGA775 socket, 206 mm2 die size, and 230 million transistors.
