AMD: 65nm production on schedule
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has started producing 300mm wafers at
its Fab 36 plant in Dresden, Germany, a key step in its plan to enter full-scale 65nm production next year. The chip maker is currently manufacturing SRAM memory chips in order to qualify the production equipment.
