Athlon 64 X2 (dual-core) details
According to UK website Hexus, AMD's dual-core desktop processor is to be named the Athlon 64 X2. The initial range will include the following models: Athlon 64 X2 4400+, Athlon 64 X2 4600+, and the flagship Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (2 x 2.4GHz). There are no plans to introduce an 'FX' variant of the Socket 939 dual-core desktop processor at this time.
