A leaked ATI presentation slide has revealed details on the firms next highend card. Built on TSMC's 80nm process, the flagship XTX version will feature a 750MHz core and 900MHz (1800MHz) GDDR3 memory. The R590's tweaked programmable memory controller and 57.6 GB/s of memory bandwidth will offer users a performance boost of up to 30% in shader intensive applications when compared to the X1900 XTX.
The X1950 XTX will produce less heat and less noise thanks to the 80nm process and redesigned HSF. The X1950 XT (singleslot) and XTX (dualslot) graphics cards should be available around August 2006.
