Today AMD officially unveiled its (Revision F) Socket AM2 processor range. New features include a DDR2 memory controller, (Up to 667MHz all chips and 800MHz for the X2 and FX), reduced power consumption including a new 'Energy Efficient' model lineup, AMD Virtualization Technology and an improved 4-point heatsink mounting for the new Socket AM2 design.
