Suspect AMD processors seized
Approximately 60,000 AMD CPUs have been seized by Police in southern Taiwan. The processors, all defective, were probably stolen from one of the company's three testing and packaging facilities located in China, Malaysia, and Singapore. It's believed that up to one million similar chips may have already been re-marked and sold in China, Germany and South East Asia.
