More NV40 news

With the NDA press presentation out of the way, and the official launch next week, The Inquirer has published more details on NVIDIA's new high-end GPU.

According to them the NV40 will be available in two versions, the GeForce 6800 and the faster GeForce 6800 Ultra. Interestingly "FX" is no longer used in these new product titles.

In a separate article they're reporting that numerous sources have confirmed that a Futuremark 3DMark2003 score of 12,535 has apparently been demonstrated by NVIDIA on its pre-production engineering samples.
