NVIDIA preparing CK8-04/Pro chipset for Socket 939
Somewhere in Q3/Q4 2004 AMD is going to launch its CK8-04/Pro core-logic designed for AMD's Socket 939 processors. It has support for 1000MHz HyperTransport, 4 S-ATA 150 ports with RAID, 2 P-ATA 33/66/100/133 ports with RAID, Gigabit Ethernet, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 4 PCI slots, High-Definition 24-bit 96kHz 7.1 audio and something nVidia calls PCI Express x20.
