Another Socket 775 warning!

"From my experience in the labs, the new LGA-775 (Prescott-T) chips are very resilient...

It's the sockets on the boards and the pins within the sockets that are causing all the problems - bent pins, broken pins.... I saw a minimum of 25% fallout on our validation platforms due to socket damage... the chips all remained in good working order. Keep in mind, people in the Intel labs swap a lot of CPU's, but they are also trained techs and engineers that are killing these boards...

Best advice is take an extra minute and make 100% sure you lift the chip straight up, and set the replacement straight down... any side to side movement equals possible socket damage."
